Is Vocably free?
Yes. Every level, the Daily Word, every meaning and review are free, and there are no ads. Hint credits come with the game and as you play; packs of more are an optional purchase.
Do I need the internet?
No. Vocably works offline, with every word on your device. Buying credits and leaderboards, which stay off until you turn them on, use the App Store, Google Play, Game Center or Google Play Games.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later, and Android phones and tablets with Android 11 or later.
What do you collect about me?
Nothing. There’s no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and your progress stays on your device. The privacy policy has the details.
Where do the meanings come from?
Definitions are adapted from Open English WordNet, many rewritten in plain words of our own, and pronunciations come from the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary.
